About Sovereign of the Seas:
The SOVEREIGN OF THE SEAS, also known as Man of War, was built by King Charles I in East Boston, Massachusetts in 1637. At that time, the Sovereign of the Seas was the largest and most powerful than any other ship. This ornately carved and gilded British warship was called by Dutch seamen " The Golden Devil" and was said to be 150 years ahead of her time. Her guns could fire more than a ton of metal. For over 60 years, no enemy could sink her.
